Behavioral Corporate Finance in Emerging Capital Markets

The project of 2022 became the second phase of the realization of long term  research started in 2021.

The goal of the project in 2022:

Realization of research models on the impact of personal characteristics of top management and boards of directors regarding the policy of technological and managerial innovations of companies, including the implementation of sustainable development principles and reporting on sustainable development, the decision horizon and the identification of the corrective role of boards of directors.

The objectives of the research:

1. Development of the Russian version of the dictionary of text analysis in order to assess the behavioral characteristics of CEOs.

2. Conducting a text analysis based on the Russian dictionary to assess the behavioral characteristics of the CEO and the CEO's propensity to take risks.

3. The investigation of the influence of personal and behavioral characteristics of CEOs on the policy of technological and managerial innovations of companies.

4. Research on the influence of personal and behavioral characteristics of CEOs on the implementation of the principles of sustainable development and reporting on sustainable development in companies.

5. Creation of an academic review of research on the personal and behavioral characteristics of top management especially in emerging markets in general to identify the similarities and peculiarities of their influence on the Russian market.
