The project of 2023 continued to realize the research directions stated in 2022 for a three-year horizon.

The goal of the project in 2023:

The study of the influence of personal characteristics of top management and boards of directors on the formation of new corporate policies in the field of innovation, funding, mergers and acquisitions, ESG transformation in the context of a new economic and geopolitical reality.

The objectives of the research:

1. Assessment of the impact of personal characteristics of top management and boards of directors on innovation in companies in times of high uncertainty.

2. Analysis of changes in corporate policies regarding the funding, dividend payments, mergers and acquisitions in accordance with adjustments of the ownership structure in Russian companies.

3. Identification of typical personal characteristics of top management of Russian companies taking corporate decisions in context of significant changes in markets, technologies, and limited access to global capital markets

4. Identification of ESG management practices of companies during crisis.
