
The Journal of Corporate Finance Research has published a new study by researchers of the Corporate Finance Center on the moderating effect of corporate boards under economic uncertainty in Russia
The Journal of Corporate Finance Research has published a study by Maria Kokoreva and Regina Gataullina of the Corporate Finance Center. Drawing on 126 companies in the MOEX index over 2010–2022, the authors show that economic uncertainty pushes firms towards riskier behaviour: independent directors markedly reduce risk appetite, while state ownership above 25% increases it.
